Promotion of new CD by bandleaders Erik Rothenstein (bari sax) and Michal Motýľ (bass trbn).

The project is characterized by:

• Search for a shared „heavyweight“ sound between the bass trombone and baritone saxophone

• Long-term collaboration & original compositions

• Tension between strict harmonic structure and the freedom of free improvisation

The work of both Michal Motýľ and Erik Rothenstein, alongside a strong jazz foundation, draws inspiration from world music and works with complex odd meters, creating an authentic and genre-open dialogue.
